The WAPs: Cheer Up, Emo Kid

Whimsy. Assonance. Pennies. Speed: A Home Brand Burlesque Competition. 

We gave eight of our favourite local burlesque performers a very silly theme, 4 weeks, and $50 to make us a brand new act. 

This competition celebrates big swings and bigger misses. We love silly geese, clever ducks and permanently exhausted pigeons. 
Join us as we showcase wacky, wonky and wonderfully wobbly burlesque to answer the all important question: Who will win The Golden Vulva? 

Prize for best dressed.  Theme is: ITS NOT A PHASE! - recreate your style from High School. 

In honour of our teenage selves, we will be raising funds for the Queer Youth Drop In . You're very welcome to make an additional donation :)

Accessibility information
Venue has step-free access to both its main entrance and performance space. 
There is an accessible bathroom.
The venue is located on Pirie Street with on street and paid parking garage options, there are routes step and obstacle free to the venue and can be navigated with a mobility aid. Seating is mostly plastic chairs with back rests though some padded options are available. Non-alcoholic drink options are available over the bar.
