The WAPs: Hubba Bubba Picnic

We thought y'all could use a 'lil wind down after an extremely hectic MAD MARCH so we've planned a FULL EVENING of unhinged WAPs silliness for your post-fringe recovery pleasure!

5pm - Twilight (approx. 7pm): free BYO picnic (we are SO excited to hear all about your Fringe adventures and revel in your excellent company) 

7 - 8.30pm: its SHOWTIME BBY! We've booked SIX brand new incredible WAPs acts on the theme "Hubba Bubba Picnic" - all put together in 4 weeks with just $50 as always! PLUS Mr Earnest Cuddles makes his MC debut AND a very special birthday guest judge! 

9pm - Late: DJ Nick is on the decks for a FREE AFTER PARTY. Y'all know how much we love a house party and the Lee st crew throw the best ones! We cannot wait to party down with you all. 

We're broke and crusty as hell after Fringe (and assume you guys are too!) so in an effort to keep everything as cost effective as possible please BYO cushions/rugs/chairs and drinks/nibbles. Pre-show picnic and afterparty are completely free to attend. Show is ticketed so we can cover our performer's budgets, tech hire and pay our crew. Thanks for your understanding. No Allocated Seating - This is a backyard picnic style show at a private residence, please bring your own picnic supplies/drinks/nibbles.

Accessibility information
Access up the driveway and through the side gate is even, step-free concrete and pavement. Seating is picnic style on the lawn - if grass and/or seating on the floor is going to be inconvenient for you, you are very welcome to bring a folding chair and/or set up on the paved area under the veranda. As this is a private residence, there is no dedicated accessible bathroom and there is a small step over the threshold of the sliding door to access it. However we have a portable access ramp to help you get anywhere you need to go. Both The WAPs crew and our wonderful hosts, Nick and Bonnie Dune are on hand to help any way we can. 

There is ample street parking - please reach out with specific access needs so that we may accommodate you. We're also extremely well situated for Public Transport with bus numbers 719/720 running along South Rd (stop 12), the W90/W91 stopping on Winston Ave (stop 16) and the 190 stopping on Edward st (stop 14D).
