UC Medical and Counselling Centre is running a FREE weekly psych skill workshop for UC students. Each week one of our Psychologists will work with students on building a new set of skills and the tools to manage a range of challenges students face today – such as goal setting, connecting with others, managing stress, and overcoming procrastination.

October 30 | Meditation - Eye of the Hurricane (Exam time) Today we will meditate on "the eye of the hurricane" to practice engaging the observer self and connecting with inner peace and calm. November 6 | Meditation - Leaves on a Stream (Exam time) “Leaves on a stream” is a mindfulness technique often used in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It’s particularly helpful when you're dealing with distressing thoughts, rumination, or cognitive overload.
