Introducing:

The Well

‘The Well’ is an initiative designed to encourage and refresh businesspeople in their faith. Be inspired by gifted speakers who live successfully in the business world, and also faithfully in their commitment to God.

All are welcome, you don’t need to go to church to come to this.

Upcoming Event: 

'Faith & Risk-taking' Breakfast

  • Auckland on Mon 4th November, 6.30am (at Hyundai Marine Sports Centre)
  • Tauranga on Tues 5th November, 6.30am (at Trinity Wharf)

Come and enjoy inspiring talks on the topic of 'Faith and Risk-taking,' over a cooked breakfast with a group of businesspeople interested in exploring more about the intersection of their work and their faith.



Tickets are $79.61 ($65 + GST + $4.86 Booking Fee) 

Tickets include a full cooked breakfast, coffee & tea etc. 
(The ticket price is set to cover our external costs, after donations by our generous sponsors and subsidisation by Resonance Strategy and Marketing, the organiser.)

Schedule:

6:30 am - Arrive, coffee & networking
7:00 - 8:30 am - Breakfast & speeches
8:30 am - Formal event finish

Graham Shaw

Graham has had a highly successful executive career. He spent the first 10 years of his career with KPMG as a business advisor before joining Works Infrastructure (now Downer) where he ultimately became CEO, leading the company to substantial growth and successful expansion into Australia. Graham was also CEO of Kensington Swan (KPMG Legal at the time he joined).

For the past 20 years Graham has been actively involved at Board level with start-ups, not-for-profits and listed companies. His directorships have included:

  • Xero (9 years)
  • Gentrack (5 years)
  • Pushpay (8 years - 4 as Chair)
  • Chair of the Chartered Professional Engineers Council (6 years)
  • Chair of Christian Savings Ltd (16 years to present)

He has also served on a variety of other not-for-profit and faith-based boards.

Graham is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and a past Companion Member of Engineering New Zealand.

After a successful corporate career with the likes of Fletcher Building and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Scott founded ‘Resonance Strategy and Marketing Consulting’ at the beginning of 2019.

Resonance is an outsourced innovation consulting practice that helps clients achieve transformational growth. It serves both commercial and not-for-profit clients with integrated solutions across research, strategy, marketing, branding, leadership and culture. It has grown quickly, employing a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team of strategists and creatives. Resonance serves clients across New Zealand, the USA and Australia.

In 2021 Scott founded what has now become ‘The Well,’ an organisation that aims to encourage businesspeople in their faith.
