Join Bonnie & Wild's legendary White Heather Club ceilidhs! A night of fabulous Scottish Highland music, dancing & cheer. One of Edinburgh's best nights out! Free, and all welcome.
You'll be twirling, whirling and birling to Scottish ceilidh music as the fabulous Charlie Kirkpatrick and his band take you through traditional Scottish Country dances such as the Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow and the Gay Gordons.
And don't worry if you don't know the moves to these and the likes of the St Bernard's Waltz or Canadian Barn Dance! Charlie will call out all the steps and make sure everyone enjoys themselves and has a braw time!
No one leaves without a big grin and having made a few new friends.
Come for the dances and stay for the prizes. In partnership with national kilt-maker ScotlandShop, we're also giving away prizes for the best and bonniest dancers. As well as some serious kudos, we'll also be handing out much-coveted prize-winning rosettes, plus Bonnie & Wild gift vouchers and more.

- How much do tickets to the White Heather Club cost?
Tickets to the White Heather Club are free, but we ask that you do register if you're coming along please.
- How old do I have to be to join the White Heather Club?
All ages are welcome! Bonnie & Wild is a welcoming and accessible family-friendly venue, and so too are the ceilidhs.
- What about merch?
Yes, we have that too! You can buy White Heather Club T-shirts and hoodies on the night from the Bonnie & Wild team.
- I want to come to Bonnie & Wild and have a meal first, can I book a table?
We don't reserve tables at Bonnie & Wild, but with almost 400 seats inside our Scottish Marketplace we will get you seated and fed before the dancing starts! Have a look at Bonnie & Wild's website to see all the amazing kitchens they have - (last orders for food is usually shortly before 9pm).
You can if you like look at reserving our events space - get in touch with our events team if you're looking at putting on a special occasion or function that same night. - I have two left feet! Will I be allowed to dance?
Of course and fret not! Bandleader Charlie Kirkpatrick will talk you through all the moves. You'll be an expert in no time!
- How do I get there? What about parking?
We're on the fourth floor of the St James Quarter in Edinburgh's city centre, with lots and lots of available parking (use the Picardy lifts/escalators will take direct to Bonnie & Wild). You can also easily get here by public transport with Waverley Station a few minutes' walk away, while tram and bus stops are also close by.
