The first ever Soulful Sunday. A new live music experience from The Wild Folk, created in Aldinga and built around incredible artists, beautiful spaces and the kind of shows you remember long after the last song.

For one afternoon, Soulhouse Social Club will be transformed into something completely different. Warm cinematic lighting, immersive art direction, intimate performances and a carefully curated line-up of Australian artists playing folk, roots, soulful music.

Soulful Sundays has been created to bring people back to the feeling of discovering something special.

Grreat songs, great people and a room built around the music.

An artist you’ve never heard becoming your new favourite.

A Sunday afternoon turning into one of those nights you talk about afterwards.

This first show is the beginning of what we hope becomes a regular home for incredible Australian music in the south.

In the years ahead, we want people to be able to say:

“I was at the first one.”

So come early. Grab a drink. Find your spot. Meet some people. Discover an artist.

ROB EDWARDS — HEADLINER

Adelaide-based Western Arrernte artist Rob Edwards makes music rooted in honesty, connection and lived experience. A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Rob draws on family, identity, mental health, nature and stories carried through generations, moving between soul, blues and country with a voice that can be as intimate as it is commanding.

His songs are deeply personal without feeling closed off, but told in a way that leaves space for audiences to find something of themselves in them. That ability to connect with an audience has become a defining part of Rob’s live performance, with tours across five countries and an expanding catalogue of festival and support credits, including WOMADelaide, Queenscliff Music Festival, Rumbo Oaxaca (Mexico), Harvest Rock Festival, Burunga Festival, supporting Robbie Williams, Ash Grunwald, Pseudo Echo and Jack Botts. His live presence has been described as one that “commands space and time with his voice” (OUSS Hits Podcast), while Pilerats dubbed him a “Dallas Green disciple.”

Rob has received national airplay on Triple J and ABC Radio, as well as local airplay on Three D Radio, Radio Adelaide, RRR FM and more. He’s been featured in Scenestr’s 2023 South Australian Music Awards Spotlight. He has been a finalist for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Artist at the South Australian Music Awards every year from 2021–2025, alongside Best Regional Artist nominations in 2024 and 2025 and a Country Artist nomination in 2025. His wider recognition includes a UNESCO 10 Year Award.

Influenced by artists including John Mayer, The Bros. Landreth, Chris Stapleton and Stevie Wonder, Rob has developed a sound that feels grounded in where he comes from while pushing forward into something distinctly his own.

KATIE MILAE

Katie Milae is a Sunshine Coast-based Australian artist creating desert soul-stirring folk—an earthy blend of soul, blues and Americana shaped by her upbringing in Darwin and years travelling the world. Known for her rich, resonant unique voice and raw, emotionally charged songwriting, Milae brings a distinctive depth and energy to both her recordings and live performances. 

Independently, she has toured more than 10,000 kilometres across Australia and shared stages with artists including Ash Grunwald, David McCredie, Rod Coote, John Butler, Kasey Chambers and Busby Marou. With 100,000+ Spotify streams, her latest single ‘Darlin’ is paving the way for her next chapter. Her debut album and first European tour arrive in 2027, and she’s only just getting started.

ADAM BLESING

Adam Blesing is a South Australian singer-songwriter stepping into a new chapter with a solo body of work rooted in folk, soul and country. Best known for his work with award-winning band Dojo Rise, Adam has spent years performing, writing and touring, shaping a voice grounded in experience, instinct and a deep connection to honest songwriting. His solo work strips things back, placing the song, the story and the emotion firmly at the centre.

Adam’s music moves between quiet intimacy and raw, soulful intensity. His songs are powerful yet tender, vulnerable without feeling fragile, exploring love, loss, change, growth and all the complicated spaces in between. Warm, earthy and emotionally direct, this new body of work reveals a deeply personal side of Adam Blesing songs filled with honesty and heart, carried by a voice that feels lived-in and a songwriter unafraid to let the cracks show.
