It’s like a big wind has swept us up and dumped us worlds apart.
We could run right past each other and never know…
A group of 6 teenagers struggle with issues such as homelessness, transience, out of home care, consent, sexual identity, mental health, school refusal ... just a few of the shadows that keep them on the run from themselves.
They need the wind to settle, be still. Just so they can catch their breath.
Interweaving true to life stories with songs, humour and hope,
‘The Wind Settles’ is a journey of connection with others who don’t ‘fit’ and ultimately with oneself. If we look hard enough and for long enough, we can discover and celebrate all of who we really are…
