This is a no-frills, black and gold, community-run festival; no sponsors, no VIP tickets, no fancy decorations. Expect excellent live music in a good old-fashioned community hall, with great food, professional sound and a bunch of dedicated volunteers. We keep the running costs low, the ticket price low and the best quality music on tap so that we can sustain our festival in the long-term. We do this because we love original live music and we especially love sharing it with our Stomp family, who return each year for this little hidden nugget of a festival.
2024 will be a year to remember. Gary ‘Heads Shed’ Gladstone has outdone himself and the organising committee are super excited to bring you one our best lineups yet.
Everyone is under financial pressure, so we have decided to keep base ticket prices down (the same as last year’s prices) and absorb cost increases ourselves. Tickets are available via Humanitix, a not-for-profit ticketing company.
Tickets are limited to 250 people. We only pre-sell weekend passes. We expect to sell out this year. If we don’t sell-out of weekend passes there may be a limited number of day passes available at the door on a first-in-best-dressed basis. Contact the organisers via Humanitix to enquire about availability of day-passes closer to the event.
Our incredible 2024 lineup:
The inimitable Dallas Frasca will blow your mind with her electrifying one-woman show. This award-winning, guitar-slinging, rock goddess will have you dancing, stomping and falling in love her powerful vocals, her beautiful husky vibrato and fantastic songwriting. Get ready Wolvi!
Take your hat off to Frank Sultana, who was awarded first place in the Solo/Duo category of the 2023 International Blues Challenge Final (IBC) in Memphis – one of the world’s biggest Blues music competitions. What more can we say? Beat Magazine says it all: “Embracing all of the dark charm of pre-WW2 Mississippi blues…Armed with a singing voice with as much grit and whiskey-drenched soul as the characters he writes about.”. Frank Sultana’s set will be a special treat that we will savour for years to come.
Owen Campbell will bring his smouldering guitar work, gritty caramel vocals, and sublime rhythm section to the 2024 Wolvi Stomp. Owen’s sound is best described as alternative blues and soulful cosmic rock. Owen Campbell has 3 best-selling studio albums, 2 EPs, and over 12 years of national and international touring. We are excited to have him back in Wolvi.
Jesse Redwing has honed his chops in smoky juke joints all over the world for damn near two decades now. He was a semi-finalist in the 2024 International Blues Challenge on the iconic Beale st in Memphis, TN. On top of touring Europe and the USA with the Jesse Redwing band, Jesse has supported such acts as Cedric Burnside, Jon Cleary, Cold Chisel, The Teskey Brothers and Ana Popovic. A track off Jesse’s debut album "Crawlin’ Up the Walls" was featured on hit Netflix show “Shooter”. Jesse Redwing is guaranteed to fill your cup with his contemporary take on the timeless soulful sounds of the blues legends.
So many more fantastic blues and rock legends on this lineup; Zed Charles, LR Marsh, Mitch King, Urban Chiefs, Mrshall & The Fro, Matty Rogers, Dillion James, the Wolvi Hall will be tearing at the seams with dirty rotten blues! Secure your tickets early folks.
