The Writing ARC: Monthly Writing Focus Session
Description
The Writing ARC is a 2.5 hour guided writing space for writers at any stage with any project who want protected time, gentle structure, and supportive accountability. Come write at ARC Studio in Bellingen or join us online.
Who is this for?
Whether you’re starting something new, returning to a long-held idea, or trying to finish a piece that’s been sitting quietly for years - this space is for anyone who feels called to write but struggles to make time or momentum. This is not a workshop or critique group. You don’t need to share your work, perform, or produce anything specific.
What the Session Looks Like
You’ll be held in a calm, focused environment where you can work on your own writing project and build a sustainable creative rhythm. Each session includes intention setting and check‑ins, uninterrupted writing blocks, and optional moments of connection.
9.00-9.10am Intention Setting & Check‑In - A short grounding to set your focus for the session and reflect on last month’s goals.
9.10-10.10am Writing Hour One - A steady, manageable rhythm to help you drop into flow.
Four × 20‑minute writing blocks
Five‑minute breaks between each block
10.10-10.25am 15‑Minute Break - Stretch, breathe, refill your cup.
10.25-11.25am Writing Hour Two - Another hour of focused writing in 20‑minute blocks with short breaks.
