This online live performance and history talk is hosted by Dr David Waldron, Senior Lecturer in History at Federation University, join him as he takes you on a magical journey through some of the traditions and folklore of medieval Europe, left in the dark corners of colonial Australia.

Hidden away in old fireplaces, window sills doorways and thresholds of old properties are strange marks and concealed from a bygone age. Popularly known as 'Witch's marks' these represent the folkloric legacy of supernatural beliefs and superstitions from medieval Europe transported to colonial Australia during the early days of settlement.
