The Young Naturalist: Incredible Insects
Event description
Young Naturalists will journey into the incredible world of insects with our magnifying lenses, microscopes, and Canon cameras in our unique Insect Laboratory.
On the journey
* Discover the world through the eyes of insects.
* Explore our worldwide collection of preserved insect specimens, including beetles, butterflies, bugs & mantids with our magnifying lenses.
* Meet our LIVE Spiny Leaf Insects (Extatosoma tiaratum) and Goliath Stick Insects (Eurycnema goliath).
* Learn Nature Photography as we focus our Canon cameras on the insects inhabiting the forest grids in Sydney Olympic Park.
* Become a Citizen Scientist by contributing your photographs to iNaturalist Nature Discovery Projects.
** Some of our live Spiny Leaf Insects will be available for adoption.
