The Young Naturalist: Nature Detectives
Description

Young Naturalists will become Nature Detectives© as they discover the secret nocturnal adventures of Pamela the Long-nosed Bandicoot© (Perameles nasuta) in our Sydney backyards and bushland.
Solve the mystery of Pamela’s nocturnal foraging by identifying flower pollen from her fur, fungal spores from the tip of her nose and insect remains from outside her burrow.
Join our Detective Team to delve into the secret world of bandicoots-
* Solve the clues and decipher the codes to identify the plants, fungi and insects Pamela has visited during her nocturnal adventures, using our magnifying lenses and microscopes.
* Learn to identify flower pollen from 4 different native plants (wattle, Banksia, Grevillea and Westringia), using our microscopes.
