The Block: Backyard Blitz

We have an ongoing partnership with AYLA Inc. and on this occasion we are taking the party to them! 

AYLA Inc. support a range of at risk youth located South of Perth by providing services for systematically disadvantaged people in our community. One of their key services is crisis housing and short term accommodation for displaced youth. AYLA Inc. wants to make the garden a place of reflection and community but at the moment it needs some love and attention. 

So, we are going to transform one of their properties into a garden oasis complete with veggie patches, ponds and communal areas. We'll even celebrate the our achievements over a bonfire and community dinner.

But, we need your help!

• 8AM:  Emu walk and general clean up 
• 9am: Branches, stumps & Fences
  
• 10am: Morning Tea (pat patches the sheep)
  
• 10:30am: Garden beds & ponds
  
• 12:00pm: Lunch (pat Winnie the pig)
  
• 1:00pm: Paths & garden beds
  
• 2:00pm: Plants, plants, plants
  
• 3:00pm: Afternoon Tea (pat Pablo the Alpaca)
  
• 3:30pm: Plants cont.
  
• 5:00pm: Clean up
  
• 6:00pm: Dinner, Grand Reveal & Bonfire 

Many hands make light work. We'll bring the experts, tools/PPE and REQ vibe. Join us for the full day, or parts of the

day - all support appreciated!... or just join for the reveal and celebration over dinner and bonfire :)
