Theatrical High Tea
Event description
Theatrical High Tea
Sponsored by Leeton Shire Council and Creative Connection Riverina Inc.
Ken Hammond, in association with Riverina Stage Play, present a theatrical comedy about love, relationships and…misunderstanding.
Step into a world of glamour, gossip, and jazz at this year’s Theatrical High Tea, featuring Question Interrupted, a two-act play set in an era of speakeasies, gangsters, and extravagant soirées.
As whispers of rebellion swirl and fortunes rise from the shadows of prohibition, James dares to pursue something far rarer—true love. The setting: Mama Leone’s Ristorante. The plan: perfectly scripted. The moment: flawless… until it isn’t. Surely there is no chance of this question being interrupted!
Accompanied by live musical performances by Makayla Heath and complemented by a lavish high tea feast by the Leeton JumpStart Fund, this event blends drama, music, and indulgence for an afternoon of elegance and entertainment.
A festival favourite held at the charming Yanco Agricultural Institute Recreation Hall—where stories, sweets, and song come together in perfect harmony.
NB: Whilst all efforts will be made to cater to any indicated dietary requirements, the service of food will not be made in a completely gluten-free environment.
