Description

The Good Trade Makers Market is a true celebration of tradespeople, bringing nearly 100 of the country’s greatest independent makers together under one roof for a weekend of thoughtful holiday shopping.

Join us at DoubleTree South Burlington on December 5 & 6, 2026 from 11-5 each day, and meet innovators, designers, and makers who have spent years meticulously honing their crafts.

By shopping at The Good Trade, you’ll be supporting independent businesses from fifteen states while finding meaningful, well-made gifts for everyone on your list.

Your entry includes a drink ticket, redeemable on-site for a small beer or cocktail pour, coffee, or non-alcoholic beverage from one of our sponsors, or a discount toward a larger beer or cocktail. Sponsors will be announced soon!

EVENT FAQs

TICKETS:

All attendees will receive a drink ticket with entry that can be redeemed on-site for a single small beer or cocktail pour, or a non-alcoholic drink or coffee from one of our sponsors!

Tickets to this event are non-refundable, but you can send them to a friend if you are unable to attend. Simply forward your tickets to another person via email, or send a screenshot - so long as we can see the QR code at check-in. Each individual ticket a unique QR code.

SHOPPING:

Vendors will have a large selection of unique goods at varying price points. Most vendors take cash, cards, and cash apps, but there is no ATM on site. We recommend bringing your reusable tote bag!

ACCESSIBILITY:

DoubleTree and The Good Trade Makers Market are accessible to guests who use wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, and other mobility aids.

Please note that the event can become quite busy, particularly during peak hours. If you need assistance during your visit, our event staff and security team will be happy to help whenever possible.

WEATHER:

This event is held indoors and will take place rain or shine. There may be a short wait to get in, which we will work through quickly, but plan to be outside for a bit and dress accordingly just in case!

DRINKING:

Bring your ID if you plan on having delicious cocktails and beer at the bar! Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, too. We recommend bringing your reusable water bottle, as the venue has several water bottle filling stations.

OMG, A BOOK SWAP:

Bring your pre-loved books to The Good Trade's Book Trade and swap them out with our pre-loved books! Our book swap is free, open to all, and is located right behind the check-in desk where we scan your tickets. Please, no bibles, encyclopedias, or text books.

PETS:

We love our rescue pugs, but this event is not pet-friendly. Please leave your pets at home. This includes animals in carriers, strollers, and bags.

Service dogs that are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability are welcome. Emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals are not covered under the ADA and unfortunately are not permitted.

There are no exceptions to this policy, and we cannot refund tickets if you arrive with a pet. As much as we'd love to meet your Shih Tzu, they'll have to sit this one out.

KIDS:

Children ages 3 and under are welcome to attend free of charge. Anyone age 4 and older will need a ticket for entry.

Strollers are welcome, but please be mindful of our vendors, their displays, and fellow attendees, as the event can get quite busy.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

PARKING:

Parking is free and plentiful in the on-site parking lot at DoubleTree Expo Hall.

Accessible parking spaces are available for guests with valid disability parking permits or license plates. Please do not park in these spaces unless you are legally authorized to do so. Vehicles parked illegally in accessible spaces may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

CANCELLATION POLICY/COVID 19:

If The Good Trade Makers Market must be postponed or rescheduled due to public health concerns, severe weather, government restrictions, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event date and will not be refunded. Ticket holders will be notified via email with updated event information.

At this time, we do not anticipate requiring masks at the event. However, we reserve the right to implement health and safety measures, including a mask requirement, if circumstances warrant. We will continue to follow applicable public health guidance and will communicate any changes to attendees in advance of the event whenever possible.

DON'T BE A JERK:

We reserve the right to remove any attendee who harasses, harms, or intimidates other attendees, vendors, or our staff - or generally speaking, acts like a jerk - so please don't. We're here for a good time, and we have a zero tolerance policy for rude behavior. You'll be removed from the event without a refund.
