once the moon has been made steady the sun can be made to rise

the moon in this instance is a metaphor for our mind. moon practices offer an opportunity to ground and calm the mind, something that in this current age we all could use a bit of.

this is a guided hour and a half traditional hatha practice with an emphasis on pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. there will be half an hour at the end of class to journal, connect with the community, or integrate on your own - the choice is yours on how you use that time.
this practice is appropriate for all levels of yogis and yoginis.
yoga is a human science, so all are welcome in this space as equal.

there are 15 mats, 15 bolsters, and 10 blocks available for you, but if you would like to bring your own you're more than welcome. (it is recommended if you have your own blocks to bring them as there are limited to share).
what is recommended you bring:

• a blanket (especially if you have sensitive knees)

• a journal

• your beautiful self
