Travel instructions

It is a brisk 15-20 minute walk from Circular Quay and Wynyard transport hubs. Hickson Road is serviced by the 324 and 325 bus service or the 311 to Millers Point, and the Barangaroo Metro stop is only a short 10-minute walk away. Pedestrian and cycle paths service Walsh Bay Arts Precinct from Barangaroo to Circular Quay. Metred parking is available on Hickson Road, Pottinger Street and Lower Fort Street and paid secure parking can be found at 26 Hickson Road (Bond one Wilsons), 25B Hickson Road (Barangaroo Point Wilsons) and at the corner of Towns Place and Hickson Road (Barangaroo Reserve Wilsons). By Bus: Bus 441 departs from the York Street side of Queen Victoria Building (Stand D) and drops off near the Art Gallery. Returns to Queen Victoria Building, picking up outside the Art Gallery. By Train: St James and Martin Place train stations are both about 10 minutes walk. By Taxis and Rideshare: Drop-off and pick-up zone on Art Gallery Road near the front of the Art Gallery. Parking: Meter parking is on Mrs Macquaries Road and other streets around the Art Gallery. There are also several parking stations near the Art Gallery. The closest are the Domain Car Park, and The Wharf Woolloomooloo Car Park, both of which can be booked in advance online. Note changes to access from the Domain Car Park: The lift closest to the Art Gallery is not operational as it is being replaced by Wilson Parking, with the service scheduled to resume at the end of 2024. There are stairs, and the car park’s south lift remains operational.

Entry instructions

The entrance to The Seed is located midway down Pier 2/3. Follow the signage for Performance Spaces. The Seed is located on Level 1 and is accessible by both stairs or lift.
