St Barnabas College and St Peter’s Cathedral are pleased to welcome Professor Stephen Pickard as our Theologian in Residence for 2025.

Stephen Pickard is a former Assistant Bishop in the Dioceses of Adelaide, and Canberra & Goulburn. For 9 years until his retirement in 2022, he served as Executive Director of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, Charles Sturt University, where he continues as an adjunct Professor of Theology. He is a recipient of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lambeth Award, The Cross of St Augustine, in recognition of his service to the Anglican Communion as a theologian, teacher and bishop.
