Theology After Dark with Rev. Dr Becki Philip

Come and join us for an unforgettable Theology After Dark as Mary Andrews College presents an Evensong service, 22nd June, 5:30pm – 6:30pm at the Garrison Church in the Rocks.   

Against the beautiful backdrop of one of Sydney’s most historic churches, come and worship the Lord with us in an hour of rich theology through word, song and practice.

The service will feature the traditional liturgy of Evening Prayer led by Rev. Natalie Ray, with Rev. Dr Becki Philip preaching. The music will be specially arranged and performed by Alanna Glover, ADM Fellow and EMU Music’s Creative Director. 

Engage with robust theology, invite some friends or meet some new ones, and be encouraged by the deep truths of God within the heart of the city.

Transport to The Garrison Church: 

60 Lower Fort Street, Millers Point. 

Circular Quay provides both a ferry junction and the closest train station to the church. 

From Circular Quay Station, walk along the paved walkway between the harbour and the MCA until you come to the International Terminal. Turn left onto Argyle Street and walk up the hill, under the tunnel, until you can turn right onto Lower Fort Street. The church is the first building on your right. 

Barangaroo Metro station is a 10 minute walk away. Buses (the 311 and 324 routes) stop within a few minutes walk of the church.
