Event description

Therapeutic Doll Making Workshop

Each thing we express or create is an outward expression of our inner Self. This therapeutic doll workshop invites participants to connect with their inner child, birth stories, and our continued story of how we 'birth' life and impulses into the world.
Kiara ferguson a registered counsellor and artisan, will guide you through each step of the journey. Sewing with threads of love, inviting a sense of wonder, acceptance, and healing, resonating both in our outer and inner worlds.
Doll making is an ancient artisan craft. We will work with the intention and heart felt love of healing. Creating a precious handcrafted doll to keep as a totem of your birth stories, or to gift to a loved one.

This workshop includes 3 full days of tutoring, all materials included. Tea and light refreshments and gentle mindfulness practices.

Note, if you make your booking 2 weeks prior to the course start date, Kiara will contact you to choose your skin and hair colours for your own unique doll.

No sewing experience required.
Groups will be held at Gallery One88.

Workshop offerings are offered across 3x Fridays 9.15am -2.15pm (5 hour sessions) on May 9th, 16th and 23rd. To complete your doll it is highly recommended to attend all 3 sessions.

Places are limited. Book now to secure your place. Sliding scale ticket options.
