Think About You joins forces with The Servo to make their New South Wales live show debut. Known for their critically acclaimed sophomore album Don’t Die On Me, Think About You (or Tay to their fans) delivers a striking blend of Celtic folk and Australian garage punk, earning praise as “one to watch” (KEXP).
Catch them in an intimate setting before they blow up and you can claim you were there in the early days!
Don’t Die On Me is the sophomore album by Think About You. It was released independently on August 16th, 2024. Don’t Die On Me was recorded and mixed by Nao Anzai (Cash Savage, NO ZU, HighSchool) at Rolling Stock Studios. It was mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring). All music was written and performed by Think About You on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation in 2023.
"The sophomore album from Naarm/Melbourne art-rock outfit Think About You is a captivating collection of violin-driven lo-fi indie rock tunes. With raw vocals that are perfectly rough around the edges and sweeping swells of sound featuring guitars, trumpet, propelling drums and, you guessed it, violin, Don’t Die On Me establishes Think About You as one to watch." KEXP Radio, USA
"The Aussie quartet sublimate lived trauma into lively, folk-infused art rock on their excellent second full-length." bandcamp.com
"The soul of Australian and New Zealand indie music inherited from the 1980s remains intact, while the chorus work, the precision of the jangly guitar, the layered sound of the violin, and the sound that is layered...Hmmmm, this is a miracle that you can't help but hear without even realizing it! This may be the record you don't want to tell anyone about in 2024, with 10 songs in total." Big Love Records, Japan
"The unique blend of Celtic folk and Australian garage punk." STEW Magazine, Naarm / Melbourne
“That was amazing. So wonderful and beautiful. They should get famous. They’re so different. They sound like they’re already famous but anyone who answers our email is not famous except for Ezra Furman. The voice is so unique... They’ve got some genius down there in Melbourne, Australia.” Holy Crap Records Podcast, USA
"The incomparable Think About You was a clear highlight of the day, transforming zombies disguised as punters into TAY’s newest fans." A show of epic proportions: Meadow Music Festival's bittersweet goodbye, Beat Magazine
"We were blessed by Think About You—which I can only describe as an uplifting blend of folk and post-punk, who had quite a few members up on the small stage. They all seemed as though they were having so much fun up there, and I’ve since fallen in love with their music, and their latest album Don’t Die On Me on has been on repeat." The Final Meadow Festival, Wanderer Magazine
