You are invited to the launch of CRU’s latest publication, THINK AGAIN.
When: Friday 19th April (5.30pm – 8pm)
Where: Hotel West End (10 Browning Street, West End)
Who is this event for? People with disability, family members and allies, disability workers and organisations, and interested community members.
Over the past 4 years the ‘New Ways’ project aimed to understand what it takes to effectively support people with disability who face multiple life barriers. In short, Queenslanders who are at greater risk of ‘falling through the cracks’. The booklet features stories from people with disability & their supporters to address the question “What would it take for all people to get the support they need to thrive?”
Join us to:
- Celebrate the writers and contributors
- Acknowledge what a small group can do when they work collaboratively
- Get your free copy of THINK AGAIN (this will also be freely available online following the event)
If you would like to join us there is no cost to attend, but you will need to register so we can capture numbers and any special dietary requirements.
