Join ecologist and sustainability expert, Steve McCabe, as well as Spud from Friends of Gidge Reserve, for an informative stroll through Reserve 2145 to learn about the local flora and fauna.

Perth is a global biodiversity hotspot but many people never appreciate the incredible plants and animals that live in their local bushland reserve. Join Steve on a bushwalk through Gidge Reserve (Reserve 2145) as he reveals fascinating plants and wildlife that you may never have noticed before and why it’s so important to protect them. The session will finish up with Spud, Friends of Gidge Reserve representative, discussing what the work the group has done recently to help improve this beautiful patch of bush.
