Discover how to protect owls (and in the process, pets as well) and be inspired by a short documentary.

Conservation Scientist, Dr Rochelle Steven (Murdoch University Lecturer and BirdLife Western Australia volunteer), will share what owls and raptors can be found in the Perth area and the benefits of having these beautiful birds around. She will discuss how we can protect owls from secondary poisoning through careful choices in rodent control.

These choices will protect your pets too! Rochelle's talk will be followed by the screening of Night Calling, a 30-minute documentary about owls, filmed in the Southwest.
