Thommo's Community Garden-Garden Tour

Have you ever wondered what goes on at Thommo's Community Garden?

As part of Thommo's Community Garden's 'Spring in the Garden' free activities, we invite you to come and explore the garden with a tour from our President and growing guru, Lisa.

Thommo's is different to other community gardens as it grows an abundance of produce for Foodbank and has an extensive growing space. Learn about what Thommo's is growing, how to grow amazing vegetables and tips and tricks to get a great crop. A great tour whether you are at the beginning of your growing edible food journey or you have been growing for years. Lisa will also show you the many aspects to support food production at Thommo's including compost, worm farms, chickens and more.

Thommo's Community Garden is located at 152 Robertson Drive, Glen Iris. Keep an eye out on your left for the gates as you approach the set on lights at Picton Road. 

The Thommo's nursery will also be open so please bring along some cash in case you would like to buy a plant.
