Thorndon Park Kids' Nature Trail Launch and activities

The Thorndon Park Kids Nature Trail is a new loop walk along the Thorndon Park wetlands and lake which takes around 30 minutes. Engaging interpretive signage invites visitors to enjoy wandering, sitting, looking, smelling and listening  and to learn more about the wetlands which are really important habitat for many birds, animals and bugs.

The Thorndon Park Nature Trail will be launched on 9 October 2024 as part of the Nature Festival and activities include:

• An art and craft workshop
• Learn about the nature of Thorndon Park
• Learn about Kaurna culture
• Nature Trail Activity Booklet to take home.
