This session will focus on fostering employee voice, participation, and advancement as key elements of just transitions in the workforce. We will explore strategies for supporting, developing, retraining, and even redeploying the workforce, as we navigate with the overarching objective of ensuring employees thrive during systemic transition and beyond.

Our 2025 online thought leadership series will feature three concise and impactful sessions on the leadership of just transitions:
Just transitions in the workforce, and
As senior strategic leaders, we are all challenged to navigate systemic shifts driven by unprecedented technological and environmental changes. Moving beyond what we’ve learned about organisational change, we need to learn more about how to direct and lead just transitions that are effective, enduring, and equitable for all stakeholders.
Aligned with the 2025 LifeLong Learning Day focused on Australia’s energy transition, this series will explore the unique challenges of leading just transitions for organisational performance and community advancement. In addition to shifting reliance from carbon-based to renewable energy, organisations also have to navigate transitions associated with the emergence of frame-changing technologies, rising sea levels, and food security, just to name a few. By the end of this series, you will have a good understanding of just transitions and their implications for your organisation’s workforce, senior leadership, and the communities you serve.
