Description

Christchurch Quilters are hosting the National Quilt Symposium 'Threads of our Times'. We are holding an exhibition of over 200 quilts as well as Auxiliary Exhibitions from local and world renowned quilters etc.There will also be classes teaching various techniques from dyeing fabric, embellishing clothing to making quilts etc. Registrations for these are accepted up until 1/10/2026

$15 daily charge to the Exhibitions or $25 for 2 days - purchase at the door only. Last Symposium was held in Christchurch in 2017 and 2003. A great opportunity to see and experience in the South Island the amazing work of so many people from all walks of life and all over New Zealand as well as from Australia, UK, USA etc.
