Thriving in menopause - first workshop
Event description
Yoga has been found to be a safe and effective intervention for women negotiating the Menopause stages of life (pre/peri/post-menopause). Done gently, mindfully and in a safe setting, yoga has been shown to reduce symptoms associated with Menopause; to improve quality of sleep; reduce the effects of anxiety; promote overall well-being and offer a better balance to life – all with no adverse side effects and at low cost to the practitioner.
Join Sue Stewart, a certified Menopause Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist, for these two unique workshops, offering gentle, slow and mindful yoga practices, Pranayama (breathing), Meditation, Restorative and Relaxation practices, specifically curated to address the symptoms and challenges arising with the transition to (and through) Menopause.
Workshop to be held on 7 June 2025 will specifically address those challenges arising with Menopause related feelings of Anxiety and Overwhelm. Participants will have the opportunity to learn techniques and tools for soothing the stress response, addressing the health of the Adrenal Glands, and improving Nervous System resilience.
