Thriving in Regional Communities: Industry Expo
Event description
Join us in Shepparton for the Thriving in Regional Communities Industry Expo on Saturday 14 June, from 2.45–4.30pm. Hosted by Monash University's Translation and Interpreting Studies program and proudly supported by the Greater Shepparton City Council, this event celebrates the completion of a regional T&I training program for bilingual workers and non-professional translators and interpreters.
The expo is open to course participants and the wider community, offering a unique opportunity to connect with key industry stakeholders, including NAATI, AUSIT, language service providers, universities, and local organisations. Learn about training and employment pathways in translation and interpreting, explore industry resources, and build valuable regional networks.
This event marks an important step in strengthening regional language services and building community resilience. Everyone interested in translation and interpreting careers or language services is warmly invited to attend!
Location: 49 Graham St. Shepparton VIC 3630 (The University of Melbourne, Shepparton Campus)
