Thriving on the Frontline 2025
Event description
If you’re a Frontliner from any number of our frontline services, (first responders, military and veterans etc), this is your chance to attend a first of its kind kick-ass event here in Australia, that’s been designed from the ground up specifically for you and the unique set of challenges you face every day on the job.
Let’s face it, regular conferences and facilitators either just don’t get what we do and what we’re up against, or they’re so wishy washy you may as well have done almost anything else with your time and it would be less frustrating and more useful.
Bugger that.
Thriving on the Frontline will be a day you’ll not soon forget, connecting with peers from various services as One Team, learning stuff that will make a tangible difference to your days and, big picture, to your life.
Sounds like a big promise, but with our line up of speakers and activities, and our experience delivering support over the last few years, we know we can deliver.
(And if we’re going to hit some heavy subject matter, we may as well do it somewhere nice, so we’ll be getting together at the Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast so why not book a few extra days and have a bit of extra thriving while you’re there!)
What’s in it for you?
The day’s sessions include speakers who will arm you with a bunch of tools, skills, know-how and strategies to not just survive, but genuinely thrive, no matter what you come up against.
Topics will fall under these four broad categories:
- Resilience
- Leadership
- Self-awareness
- Community
No fluff. No bureaucracy. No pulling punches. No tip-toeing around the real issues. Just practical advice from people who have done it, are doing it, and ‘get it’.
What you get:
- Three epic keynote speakers
- A choice of breakaway activities (no extra cost)
- Fully catered (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea)
- 15% discount at the Royal Pines Resort. (20% for RACV members)
- Book signings with Dan Pronk, Troy Knight, Keith Banks
- Discounts at various stalls including official Aussie Frontline merch.
- Frontline Yoga & Mental Health activities
When and where:
RACV Royal Pines Resort, on the Gold Coast.
DATE: 8.30am to 5:00pm. (See website for full breakdown of the day.)
A huge thank you goes to our event sponsors who have helped make this event possible.
We're not accountants, but there's also this:
We’re here to help you thrive on the frontline, not offer tax advice, but just a reminder that the ATO usually allows you to claim the cost of attending seminars, conferences and training courses to maintain or increase the knowledge, capabilities or skills you need to earn your income in your current employment. Your individual circumstances may vary so best check with your accountant, but as a Frontliner there’s a good chance this conference will be deductible for you which is also worth considering if you’re somehow not already convinced.
