Join Jason Clarke for our Thursday night Drawing Club! Jason has taught students for many years at The Gold Coast Art School and is now presenting this casual drawing class option for all levels.
Each night will start with about an hour of instruction on how to draw a specific object or element of art (such as how to draw trees, plants, or perspective). After this instructional time, students can continue with the given exercises or focus on their own choice of work.
Having said that, students are absolutely welcome to draw their own choice of work from the start! Jason aims to give all attendees a mix of instruction and tuition, but he has no problem if you prefer to focus on your own drawing throughout the night.
WHEN: Thursday nights from 6:30-9:00pm
WHERE: The Gold Coast Art School, 25 Olympic Circuit, Southport
FOR WHO: This is a casual drawing class for adults and very keen teens aged 16+. Children younger than 16 are not permitted. This is an all-levels class (beginners, intermediate, and advanced are welcome)
FEE: $45+bf
MATERIALS: Basic drawing supplies are included. Students are welcome to bring along their own papers and drawing materials
PARKING: Plenty of parking is available! If you take public transport, the Queen Street tram stop is only a few minutes walk from our school
