Thylogale Track Hike & Social BBQ

QLD Camping Bears and Pride Outside are joining forces to bring you an epic day out—and it’s not to be missed! We’ll be hiking through the lush D’Aguilar National Park and returning to Jolly’s Lookout where a sizzling BBQ will be waiting for us 😋

🥾 Hike distance: Approx 9km

⏱️ Duration: 2–3 hours

🔥 BBQ start time: 1:00pm

WHAT TO EXPECT

* Possibly overgrown in sections

* Muddy in parts

* Optional BBQ afterwards—BYO extras or contribute if you’d like, but we’ll be supplying a classic sausage sizzle 🍴

* While we hike, our trusty Bears will be prepping lunch so it’s hot and ready when we return 🐻

* BYO chairs, picnic rugs, and anything else to make your post-hike chill comfy

This fantastic trail explores the beautiful forest of D'Aguilar National Park. It starts at Jolly's Lookout and winds its way down to Boombana Carpark, then loops back via the Thylogale track. It’s shaded the whole way and bursting with life—from towering tallowwoods and strangler figs to green catbirds and red-necked pademelons.
