TĪARO Showcase 2026

Kia ora koutou,

Nau mai haere mai ki tēnei kaupapa whakahirahira ko TĪARO!

All year, our T’HONI whānau have turned up every week to learn and grow in their ao Māori through Kapa Haka. TĪARO is where it all comes together, and we’d love you there.

Between 40 and 50 performers will take the stage to perform a beracket. There will be a performance each from tamariki (children), taiohi (teens) and pakeke (adults).

What makes TĪARO special is that the generations perform side by side. Kids stand next to parents, and newer performers learn from experienced ones. Everyone adds to the growth of our whānau.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, sibling, cousin, friend or workmate, your being there means the world. Come and cheer them on, feel the wairua in the room and celebrate how far they’ve come.

We’ve set up sliding scale tickets so cost isn’t a barrier for anyone. On average, we need $15 per person to cover the cost of putting on the show. If you can pay a bit more, you’ll help cover someone who can’t.

Can’t make it?

You can still tautoko our performers by making a donation through this page. Every bit goes towards bringing TĪARO to the stage.
