Strap yourselves in, Heretics! On May 3rd, Heretic Frequency is bringing you TIC’d OFF - our first-ever metal festival, packed with a killer lineup you’d usually have to trek to the city for. But homies, this one’s happening right here in the heart of the Central Victorian Goldfields, Bendigo!

Melbourne heavyweights, local legends and interstate baddies are all converging at the Golden Vine Hotel for a full-throttle day and night of Aussie metal at its finest — this is gonna be one hell of an event!

Melbourne metal titans Orpheus Omega are taking the top spot! Formed in 2008, these absolute weapons have smashed out four killer albums, three EPs, and countless tours across Australia and abroad. A mainstay of the Aussie metal scene, Orpheus Omega never stop evolving, and their latest album, ‘EMBERGLOW’ (out via Wormhole Death Records), proves exactly why they’re one of the hardest-working and most electrifying acts around. Bringing them to Bendigo? Bloody oath we are — and we’re STOKED about it!

🛸 Brace yourselves for Alienist! 🛸

Wollongong metalcore powerhouses Alienist blend elastic riffs, soaring melodies, and ambient gloss, only to obliterate it all with beast-mode breakdowns and caustic grooves. Inspired by Wage War, I Prevail, Bring Me The Horizon, and Polaris, these legends have already racked up triple j airplay, shared stages with Northlane and Gravemind, smashed UNIFY Off The Record, and nearly sold out a national headline tour — all in just two years! Now signed to UNFD, Alienist are about to level up again — and you get to witness it first-hand at TIC’d OFF!

Hailing from Albury, Trancestate are bringing their genre-defying sonic chaos to Bendigo for the first time, fresh off the release of their album ‘All Fur Coat, No Undies’ (yeah, you read that right). Imagine death metal vocals colliding with darkwave synths, cinematic soundscapes fusing with deathcore aggression, and the occasional disco beat thrown in for good measure. Sounds wild? It is.
