Description

Join us at Black Barn Farm for a nourishing evening that begins with a light seasonal supper shared fireside, before we nestle into the warmth of the Barn for an intimate In Conversation with Tim Pilgrim — author, landscape designer, and thoughtful observer of the relationship between people, place, and the landscapes we inhabit.

Drawing on decades of experience designing gardens and landscapes that are both beautiful and deeply connected to their environments, Tim will share reflections on creating places that nourish, endure, and belong. Together we'll explore the stories held within landscapes, the art of working with nature rather than against it, and what it means to cultivate beauty, resilience, and meaning in a rapidly changing world.

Set within the character and comfort of Black Barn, this thoughtful conversation will wander through design, ecology, creativity, stewardship, and the lessons landscapes can teach us about living well. There will be opportunities for questions, discussion, and connection with fellow gardeners, dreamers, makers, and lovers of place.

Come curious, come hungry, and leave inspired by the possibilities that emerge when we pay closer attention to the land beneath our feet.
