Event description

JANUARY FEATURING
The Nomadics | TBA

We are so looking forward to hosting Bec Schofield and Dave Mann of The Nomadics, they well be joining us on the grass in January. Their music is medicine for the heart and soul.

The Nomadic Story:

"Wild musical adventures of an off-grid family Bec Schofield, Dave Mann and their three young children traverse this amazing land (Australia) in their homebuilt veggie oil powered house truck" ...

Celebrated Festival Favourites at Fairbridge & recently touring with the Waifs:

“The Nomadics imbibe stories from the heart of Australia (which they traverse in their off-grid tiny house on wheels!), then sing them out with a deep love for the world around them and each other. Their stunning harmonies drew me in, reminding me, what a beautiful thing is music". VIKKI THORN -THE WAIFS "

Intimate and authentic this Alt.Country folk duo is musical alchemy the world needs.

Support Act:

Tilly Kay and the Velvet Heart

‘Tilly Kay approaches her vocal craft with joy and an eye for detail. Her work is diverse, ranging from 10 piece jazz at The Ellington, a soul 6 piece, songwriting workshops at Bandyup prison, leading local choirs and everything in between. Tilly often joins Mama Kin as her touring backing vocalist,  and lends her tones to a variety of singer songwriter albums.. Her most recent work sees Tilly harness the deep groove her partner Sam brings to the party. A solid double bass canvas in which those velvet vocals can soar.

Join us under the trees ...

This is a laid back night out, listen to live music, sip your favourite beverage and share something delicious with your people under the stars.

Bring a little picnic, a rug or low chair to sit on  (there will be some room for those that need something a little higher) wear long sleeves or bring something to deter the biting bugs.

Arrive from 5.30pm and find yourselves a cosy patch of lawn to call home for the evening.

Please follow the signs for PARKING (at Ellenby Tree Farm & the Woodstone Carpark) and please leave your fury 4 legged friends at home (we need to keep our feathered friends safe).

We are hoping to run these intimate gigs monthly, these nights among friends are all supporting local musicians to share their music.

Tickets are limited so please make your exchange for tickets at your earliest convenience, as to not be disappointed.

Can I bring my Childen?

Timber Gigs are monthly musical evenings where you get to enjoy local talented musicians under the stars and trees, without the usual bar scene that goes with it.

We think this would suit date nights and heart filling evenings with your friends and family.

Each week we have children's gatherings where children are free to play in the gardens and wild movement area, this event is set up primarily for adults.

In saying that, we hope one day to be able to go to gigs with our children, so if your children are keen to come along to hear music, and sit with you then please bring them along.

Children will need to be supervised by and adult at all times. Wild Movement will be closed for the evening.

The farm has obstacles and can be dangerous without a watchful eye. For evening events we can't have children running around without supervision.

So, if they are coming please stay with them at all times and within the Timber gigs event area.

For Children's Tickets we just ask you to use the 'PAY it Forward' Ticket option, just pay what you feel straight to the Artists and use the words 'CHILD TICKET' when filling in the naming section.
