After years of black-tie fundraising events, we’re taking Time is Precious back to its grassroots - bringing together families, local businesses, schools and supporters for an afternoon that celebrates life while supporting an incredibly important cause.

Time is Precious was founded in 2019 in memory of Robin “Rob” Bosch, who lost his life from bowel cancer at just 50 years old. His motto was simple: Time is Precious.

Since then, we’ve raised more than $250,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia, while advocating for greater awareness of early-onset bowel cancer and the importance of early detection.

Bowel cancer is the #1 cancer killer of Australians aged 25–44. We want more people talking about it, understanding the symptoms and knowing that early detection can save lives.

Tickets

$10 per person - adults and children.

Your entry helps us raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia and supports Time is Precious in bringing this community event to life.

Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Bring the whole family.

See you there!

FAQs

  • What is Time is Precious?

Time is Precious is an Australian grassroots not-for-profit organisation established in 2019 following the loss of Sara’s beloved stepfather, Rob, to bowel cancer at just 50 years old.

We raise funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer Australia, with a particular focus on the impact of bowel cancer on younger Australians.

  • Why is bowel cancer such an important cause?

Bowel cancer can affect people of all ages, including young people who may not expect it. Time is Precious supports Bowel Cancer Australia's Never2Young campaign and advocates for greater awareness and earlier detection.

  • How can I support Time is Precious beyond buying a ticket?

    There are lots of ways!

    • Come along and bring your family and friends

    • Share the event with your community

    • Purchase a bottle of Time is Precious Gin

    • Support our event sponsors and market stalls

    • Make a donation

    • Follow and share our social media

    • Help us spread the message that bowel cancer can happen at any age

Address: 28 Cliff Ave, North Wahroonga NSW 2076

  • Do I need a ticket to attend?

Yes. Everyone attending needs a ticket, including children. Under 3 are free, you just need to book! Our wonderful volunteers will scan tickets upon entry, so please have your tickets ready.

Time is Precious and Wahroonga Rugby Club reserve the right to refuse entry or evict any person displaying antisocial behavior.

  • How much are tickets?

$10 per person. Children under 3 are free.

  • Where can I park?

There is a small car park at the oval, however spots are limited.  There is ample street parking in Wahroonga near the oval, so we recommend you park here and walk down.   Please note it can get quite busy and you may need to park 5-10 minute walk away.

  • Is the Spring Fair family-friendly?

Absolutely! The day has been designed for ALL ages including families and the wider community, with plenty to keep kids entertained while adults enjoy the food, live music and bar.

Child Supervision: Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must remain on a short leash at all times. Owners are legally responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

  • Will there be toilets?

Yes, toilets will be available at the venue, located in the Rugby Club.

  • Is the event accessible?

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the day. There is a ramp to the oval and the oval is flat.   Unfortunately the upstairs of the rugby club is not wheelchair accessible.  There is an accessible toilet downstairs.

  • What happens if it rains?

The Fair is an all-weather event and will go ahead in light rain, with some limitations to some of the activities. In the event of severe, unsafe weather, updates regarding cancellation or postponement will be posted on our official social media pages.  Should the event proceed with poor weather, the event will held undercover in the rugby club with limited/reduced events.
Keep an eye on our social media channels for any weather-related updates.

We encourage guests to pay with card only.  Most food trucks and major stalls accept card payments. However, smaller community stalls and traditional games may accept cash.

  • Is there an ATM on site?

No. We highly recommend bringing cash and your bank card with you to avoid disappointment.

  • What food will be available?
