Timeball 150th Celebration
Description
The Timeball is turning 150! Join us as we celebrate this Lyttelton landmark with an outdoor film screening!
Join us for this very special film screening hosted by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga and Tohu Whenua, with support from Lyttelton Port Company.
Straight from the archives, enjoy historic footage of the Timeball and surrounding Lyttelton Port in an outdoor cinematic experience that captures the history of the place and its connection to the people of Lyttelton.
We welcome you to bring a blanket and a cushion or sand chair (please no deck chairs so everyone can see the screen) and a picnic supper as we mark this landmark celebration! Due to available space, bookings are strictly limited.
Gates open at 6:00pm for a 7:00pm start.
