Event description

A toolkit to unlock potential & supercharge success for supervisors and their candidates

In this practical masterclass, you will learn and practice a toolkit for building better habits for more effective, quality-driven and thriving supervisory relationships. This interactive presentation will teach supervisors the nuts & bolts of the Tiny®Habits method and how to design for success in research, wellbeing and beyond.

Learning outcomes

In this masterclass, supervisors will:

  • Understand how habits work, why they matter, and how to harness them for daily success for themselves and candidates.
  • Learn a simple three step method - Tiny®Habits - to demystify and design habits that last.
  • Upskill in a range of habit change tools that can support supervisors and candidates in equal measure.
  • Create a plan on a page using the Tiny®Habits model for fast action and immediate results.

This masterclass will be delivered by Certified Tiny®Habits Coach, Claire Jackson, an MBA-qualified researcher development and behaviour change specialist. With nearly twenty years of experience leading teams in UK and Australian universities, Claire has developed and delivered award-winning skills training programs, collaborating worldwide with industry, academics, policy-makers, and students.
