Chair, Productivity Commission Danielle Wood's Bio: One of Australia’s most respected economists and policy thinkers, Danielle Wood is Chair of the Productivity Commission — the Australian Government’s independent research and advisory body on economic, social and environmental issues affecting Australians’ living standards. A former CEO of the Grattan Institute, Danielle brings a rare combination of economic rigour and accessible communication to questions facing Australian investors — from productivity and fiscal settings to housing, energy transition and long-run growth. Appointed Chair of the Productivity Commission, November 2023 (5-year term).

Managing Director & CEO Scott Baldwin's Bio: Scott Baldwin joined Solvar in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer, bringing extensive experience in sales, marketing, and technology. Appointed to the board in 2009, he established and led the secured finance division, driving the company’s growth in asset finance. Before Solvar, Scott spent more than a decade with General Electric Healthcare, holding senior roles across Asia in Sales & Service, major infrastructure projects, and the Asian Mergers and Acquisitions team. With qualifications in engineering and business, Scott combines commercial expertise with proven leadership in building high-performing, customer-focused businesses.
Stephen Young - Tasmea
Founder and Managing Director Stephen Young's Bio: Stephen Young is the Founder and Managing Director of Tasmea, steering its strategic growth for 24 years. With 45 years of experience in corporate recovery and advisory, he previously led Arthur Andersen’s Adelaide office. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Stephen chairs all Tasmea subsidiaries and numerous public boards.
Kate Quirke - Alcidion
Chief Executive Officer Kate Quirke's Bio: Kate Quirke has served as Group Managing Director and CEO of Alcidion Group since 2018, leading the business across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. With more than 25 years of experience in digital health, Kate brings deep expertise in large-scale healthcare technology procurements and implementations, and a strong track record of shaping strategic product direction within major healthcare software organisations. Under Kate’s leadership, Alcidion has grown its international footprint and built a strong and trusted customer base across multiple markets, with a clear focus on supporting clinicians and improving outcomes for patients. Beyond Alcidion, Kate is a Non-Executive Director of ANDHealth. Her contribution to the sector has been widely recognised, including being named one of Telstra Health’s inaugural Brilliant Women in Digital Health and receiving Biotech Daily’s CEO of the Year award in 2021.
Brad O'Connor - Cosgate
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Brad O'Connor's Bio: Brad leads Cogstate’s strategy, growth and day-to-day operations. Since becoming CEO in 2005, he has helped scale the business from its early focus on digital cognitive assessments into a broader, global CNS clinical-trial partner, with deeper customer relationships, an expanded service offering and a growing contracted revenue base. He has played a central role in building Cogstate’s capacity to support more complex trials across a wider range of brain-related conditions, while maintaining a disciplined, profitable business model. Under his leadership, Cogstate has delivered record sales contracts, increased the number of active trials and strengthened revenue visibility. Brad joined Cogstate in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles with Spherion Group, the Australian Wine Exchange and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
