Description
Every week, the contents of red bins from 58,000 Shoalhaven households are sent to landfill at the West Nowra Recycling and Waste Depot.
Tip tours take you to areas of our facilities that are normally restricted to the public, so that you can see a behind-the-scenes view of how a well-engineered landfill operates and how your Council manages the Shoalhaven’s waste every day. It's strangely fascinating!
Seeing first-hand the massive task of disposing of our waste is a highly memorable experience about environmental impact and shared responsibility.
