Are you a creative and want to understand some of the main things funders look for when you apply for a grant to support your work or a project?

Creative Bay of Plenty is hosting a free one hour session that will provide tips that could support your funding application success. The presentation will cover applications to a range of different funds, including Creative Communities Scheme. It will also look at:

- How to decide if your initiative or project is a good fit for a funder.

- How to write clearly and concisely.

- Tips for preparing a budget.

- The strength of support documentation.

- Making sure a funder remembers you, for all the right reasons!

The workshop will be delivered by Annie Hill, Creative Bay of Plenty’s Funding & Projects Advisor.

When: 10am-11am, Wednesday 20 July

Where: The Kollective, 145 Seventeenth Ave, Tauranga

This is a free workshop for creatives, but places are limited so registrations are essential.

The non-profit charity provides support to the region's artists and cultural organisations, opportunities for capability building, connects community, and promotion of people, organisations, projects, and events in the Bay of Plenty.
