TNT for Families

An experience for parents/carers of Geraldton who would like to try new things, and meet new people - while bonding with their children.  School holiday sessions for adult and child aged between 0 and 12 years.

Dates and ages:

• Choose your own date/time, 10-16 year olds
• Wednesday 12 Jan 9am, 9-12 year olds
• Friday 14 January 9am, 2-5 year olds
• Wednesday 19 January, 9am, 2-5 year olds
• Friday 28 January 9am, 6-8 year olds
• Friday 21 January 9am, 6-12 year olds
• Monday 24 January 10.30am, 0-4 year olds

*most sessions will run for 1 to 2 hours

FAQ:

Can I bring two or more children? Each ticket is for one child and one  adult. If you want another child to attend within that age group, they need their own adult to accompany them. If this is not an option, please leave us a comment.  If you want another child to attend who is outside of that age group, leave us a note. Creche and or alternate activities may be available dependent on the session

Can I bring a friend or another family member? Two parents or carers are welcome to come if they both wish to equally engage with the child and the activity. 

Who is this for? One parent/adult  and one child (aged between 0 and 12 years depending on the session) who want to strengthen their relationship, have fun together one on one, meet new people and have new experiences.

How does it work? Book a date/time to attend, and meet together with a small group of up 10 parents/children to try something new. You won't know what it is until you get there. Location and dress requirements will be sent out at 7am on the morning of your session.  Your registration books you for just the one session you have selected.

What do I need? The courage to try something you might have never done before, with people you might have never met.

Do I get to choose what I try? No, activities are arranged before each round of TNT begins. Each activity will be a surprise.

Why? Try something new each session - challenge yourself, experience something new with your child, meet new people, make new friends, find new things to do and love in your home town. Take the opportunity for meaningful experiences and engagement between you and your child. Develop relationships with other families, and discover the variety of activities available in our City. Experiencing something new together is the basis of building strong bonds and deep relationships.

What's the point? To have fun and feel comfortable! Trying something new is tricky - especially when the others doing it have been there a while. We are bringing together people who might have never done these things before, to experience it and give it a go for the first time - at the same time. Just for fun!  Who knows, you might find your next obsession or best friend while you're at it.
