The first edition in a series of inspiring events. To Be Seen is Melbourne's newest Storytelling and poetry platform.

10 speakers, and a present audience, coming together to continue to relish in the oldest art form of the human experience. We have gathered and told stories around fires for thousands of years.

To bring the mundane to life and tell tales of the legendary.

The fires have since become bar tables, coffee tables and any other place we have managed to gather.

And in the beautiful warmth of House of Plants, we will go on a journey of Human Expression

As we try to build a community here at To Be Seen we have asked the the storytellers and poets to use the theme of Community to inspire there words.

We can't wait to welcome you for a wonderful and wholesome evening. Come to be seen, come to be heard, come to be inspired.

This month our feature artist is Mystic Just.

Somewhere between poetry, comedy, punk, and absurdist prophecy, you’ll find Mystic Just. He has given the Spoken Word scene a huge breath of fresh air with his style. You will not want to miss the chance to see him for his debut in Melbourne.
