Years 5-6: To Laugh or Not To Laugh; Shakespeare’s Comedy V Tragedy
Event description
When you think of Shakespeare, do epic tragedies and sword fights come to mind? Or perhaps it’s mischievous fairies and cheeky characters stealing the spotlight? Maybe the magic lies in having both! Step through some of Shakespeare’s most iconic comedic and tragic moments. Led by a professional actor, students will be guided through an exploration of text analysis, building a character and uncovering what drives them. Students will get to share their scenes with an audience at the end of the week.
