Online Digital Screening

To This I Belong follows the creation of an ambitious island-wide dance project commissioned by Luail, Ireland’s national and all-island dance company.

Four choreographers — one in each province of Ireland — are invited to create site-specific works rooted in land, memory and belonging. Moving across different landscapes and communities, the film follows these works from their beginnings through to performance, revealing the relationships between movement, people and place.

Through dance, music and the landscapes that shape the work, To This I Belong becomes a portrait of an island in flux — exploring what it means to belong to a place, carry its memories and imagine its future.

Presented as part of the 2026 Inspired Dance Film Festival Digital Suite.
