Event description

Racism is more prevalent in the Hobart community than we would like to believe and it’s a difficult topic to discuss.

This City of Hobart event will involve leaders on the subject and people with lived experience to discuss what racism is, how it impacts our community and what we can do to promote unity, diversity and inclusion.

Tasmanian Panellists include the Chair and a Player from the Jack Jumpers, Professor from the Tasmanian Institute of Law Enforcement Studies, a young palawa man, a young Dad from Sudan, and a member of the Office of the Anti- Discrimination Commissioner - people passionate about nurturing and promoting equality and living in a society free from racism.
