Event description

“He taonga te reo – The language is a treasure”

 

Join us for a fun and creative session where we will craft our own taonga arero (tongue) using polymer clay—taking inspiration from the official Te Wiki o te Reo Māori logo. As we shape and decorate our pieces, we will kōrero (discuss) about the meaning behind the logo, the kaupapa of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, and the importance of the language in our lives. This is a hands-on event—a space to learn, express, and celebrate te reo Māori together.
