Korean artist machìna, based between Tokyo and Berlin, creates deeply personal electronic music designed for the collective energy of the dance floor. Her distinctive live performances blend modular improvisation, analogue systems, technology and precise vocals shaped by her background as a K-Pop artist. A regular performer at MUTEK Japan, she has also performed at MUTEK Montreal and Berghain’s Halle, and toured internationally with Richie Hawtin on the 2023 From Our Minds tour. Her releases have gained widespread attention, including “Respect” in a Miu Miu campaign and “choom” in Nike’s 2024 Campus campaign. Collaborations with Prada, Miu Miu, Nike, Red Bull Music, Vans and Shiseido reflect her unique connection between music, fashion and art.
